How did violate the Community guidelines??
The question was how one student can make money writing. My response was eliminated for violating the guidelines of the community. Maybe you could write a guide for your school or humor or fun things to do in its area.
Advertising is counted as spam. You were "promoting" a website and it was against the rules, but personally, from my point of veiw, not was as bad as some of the other answers I see on here.
