Make Money Medical Testing

Everyone is increasingly educated and informed today. They know heart attacks, strokes and cancer are leading causes death. They also know that certain conditions can be detected early, thus making it potentially treatable. Breast cancer is a good example. The Mammograms have been able to pick up the disease at an early stage is potentially curable. There is a good chance now that if caught early, the patient has more likely to die from some unrelated cause. Early detection of other conditions such as diabetes, allows the treatment, thus preventing other complications of disease.
In the old days, people just went to the doctor when he fell ill. Now they're starting to see a doctor, even when feel well. They want to know if they have any risk of disease, or are in the early stages of some diseases, where early treatment can result in a cure. Therefore, the birth of health examinations as an industry. In some countries, is a business. You can buy packages of health screenings, where tests are done in every part of you – the blood samples, urine samples, stool samples may be taken, and coverage can be filled at almost every hole. Everything can be seen today. Unfortunately, not all conditions can be detected early. And not all tests are equally good at detecting conditions. Some evidence sold as part of a complete health check-up that may not necessarily exclude a condition, or reduce your chances of dying if picked. In fact, more research, may even lead to further unnecessary tests, procedures and much anxiety.
So who should make health checkups?
People family history of certain medical conditions that go before the symptoms. For example, a strong family history of heart attacks, certain types of cancer. Most people over 40 should consider making themselves at least once, and then maybe 3 per year if no problems found.
Companies use medical tests to determine if potential employees are suitable for the job. Others use it to determine if your employees are still fit at work. Some jobs can be dangerous for people with certain medical conditions (would you really want a truck driver to have a history of uncontrolled seizures?) and other jobs can be hazardous to the health worker (eg, industries with machines that produce loud noises should regularly screen their workers for the hearing impaired).
What about people who otherwise and are worried and want to get tested, just to be safe?
There are no hard and fast rules. In some countries, you pay money, you get the test. No problem? Well, there are some things you may want to look out for before deciding to take the test.
It is proof of insurance? Will it hurt me?
A colonoscopy (inserting a scope up his rear end, to check the large intestine) is a small risk of perforation or hemorrhage. Your doctor should determine the risks and benefits of the test.
Angiography coronary CT (a scan of the heart arteries to see if they are blocked) has reduced the risks when performed in patients with certain medical conditions like kidney disease or asthma.
Is the exam easier to do?
Blood tests for high cholesterol or high sugar, is easy. So this is a test Pap smear for cervical cancer.
It's exact test?
Not using a test if the results do not give you a good answer. for example. test blood marker for colon cancer can go into other medical conditions, or were raised in early cancer. So a "normal" outcome means nothing. Nor a "high" result.
Pap smears, mammograms, blood pressure tests, sugar blood and blood cholesterol are quite accurate.
Will the test make a difference?
Mammograms do not detect breast cancer in time for treatment. Pap test detects cervical cancer in its pre-cancerous stage. Cure rates are high. So the tests are worthwhile.
What test is trying to find?
Some people just want to have their body scanned in the hope of detecting a small tumor. This does not work that way. People perfectly healthy may have variations in their bodies, or benign cysts and growths. Not all are inside it. This can lead to unnecessary further tests, including operations, not to mention the terrible stress that the patient has to undergo the expected results.
So before going for the detection of health, ask your doctor about the tests they are going to do. It's good to have more knowledge about their own bodies. And it helps if you can take steps today to prevent disease. But it is necessary to understand what is going to do.
