Make Money Selling Ebooks
I'm sure most everyone is familiar with eBooks. These are books that are written to be downloaded over the Internet. Ebooks can be of almost any length. Most of them consist of 10 to 150 pages and can sell for up to several hundred dollars. Many writers are making a fortune selling eBooks.
When an e-book consists of only 5 to 15 pages, is often considered a mini ebook. Although not as profitable, they also can be sold through your website or blog. The advantage of a mini ebook is the little time it takes to write. A decent writer can put together a mini ebook in an hour or two. Most mini ebooks sell in the range of $ 3.95 to $ 6.95. Not bad for a couple of hours.
Many people give away their eBooks. I some that I use as free gift items and some that we sell. In most cases, mini ebooks sell well. They have the highest rate of conversion between all what we sell. The conversion rate for ebooks is my mini in the area of 14%. That means for every 100 people who visit my mini ebook sales pages, 14 of them becomes a purchase.
That is an extremely high conversion rate. Most pages on Internet sales make an average of about 1%. This means that 1 out of every hundred visitors can make a purchase. My eBooks mini sell at about 14 times that rate. All things considered, my mini ebooks represent a good profit center little.
Most mini ebooks are the equivalent of three to seven 500-word articles. If you write articles, write a few that are closely related and riding a mini ebook. It will become rich by doing just one or two, but if you write ten, it could make a very nice monthly contribution to their nest egg.
